Interested in music? Well, you will be thrilled to know that three of Bob Dylan’s handwritten lyrics recently went to auction. According to various news agencies in the UK and US, the original lyrics to “The Times They Are A-Changin”, which Dylan recorded in 1963, started at a staggering $2.2m (£1.75m), and the lyrics to “Subterranian Homesick Blues” was set at a minimum of $1.2m (£960,000). The lyrics to “Lay, Lady, Lay” opened at $650,000.
Music lovers will also find it is interesting that Bob Dylan won a Nobel Prize for literature!
